Shinsui parks are parks that have been brought alive with streams and places where people can enjoy being close to water. The parks offer children a place to play in water, a place where everyone can also enjoy flower-viewing and leisurely strolls.

Flower Garden

Sogo Recreation Park
With an area of land about 24 hectares, this rectangular-shaped park stretches across three kilometers from east and west. Inside the park grounds you can find the Edogawa City Baseball Stadium, Pool Garden, Fuji Park camping area, the Flower Garden and Nagisa Park where you can ride ponies. The park is open throughout the year.
A panoramic shuttle bus runs between the Flower Garden and Nagisa Park.
Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Fees: ¥200 general admission (from junior high school to 64 years of age), ¥100 for children (elementary school age)
* Free for infants and persons 65 years of age and older.

Gyosen Park

Stretching across 30,000 square meters, Gyosen Park includes Heisei Teien (Japanese Garden), Genshin-An (Japanese-style building), Shizen Dobutsuen (Family Zoo) and a play area.
Heisei Garden
The Japanese-style garden allows you to experience various natural changes of seasons throughout the year.

There is a traditional Japanese-style building in the Heisei Garden. Surround yourself with traditional Japanese culture by experiencing an authentic tea ceremony and other events.

Imai Childrens Traffic Amusement Park

Learn the traffic rules while having fun. The park has a track with authentic signals and traffic control signs. The park also has a popular Rainbow Cycle (pedal monorail) ride that is four meters high and 287 meters long.

Komatsugawa Promenade with 1000 Cherry Trees
1 to 3-chome Komatsugawa area
As the Arakawa Super Bank is being constructed to ensure the safety of the city, nearly 1,000 cherry blossom trees are planted stretching 1.9 km from south to north.
Shinozaki Park

With an area of land of 160,000 square meters, this park has grassy hills, a Japanese garden, baseball grounds with lights for evening games and tennis courts. The park is also popular since it is the location of the Citizens Festival held every October.
Kenko-no-Michi Walk/Cycling Road
A long continuous cycling path runs along the Edogawa River from the north edge of Edogawa City to Tokyo Bay. The path then winds around the southern part of Kasai and along the Arakawa River. Attractions along the way include Koiwa Iris Garden, Pony Land and Kasai Rinkai Park.

With a 117-meter high Ferris wheel, this spacious park facing the ocean has grassy hills, an aquarium and a municipal city hotel.
Tokyo Sea Life Park

The aquarium has various displays such as Taiyo no Kokaisha (Sea Voyage), in which a shoal of tuna swims inside a huge 2,200-ton fish tank, Sekai no Umi (Oceans of the World), in which you can see fish from the seven seas and a Touch Corner, where you can actually touch ocean life.
Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Admission until 4:00 p.m.)
Fees: ¥700 for adults, ¥250 for junior high school students, ¥350 for those 65 years of age and over (Free for those who are elementary school age or younger, and junior high school students who live or go to school in Tokyo).

The only remaining remnant in metropolitan Tokyo of an Edo-era home of a village head (nanushi). In those times, the village head ran the general affairs of the village.

Yogo-no-Matsu Pine Tree at Zenyo-ji Temple

This 600-year-old tree has branches that extend 30 meters to the east and west, and 28 meters to the north and south. Yogo is the image of gods and Buddha when they appear in this world.

This is the only museum in Japan with an exhibit of subway trains. Visitors can sit in an actual drivers seat at the museum, and enjoy a simulated experience of driving a train while learning all about subway trains.
