Precautions When Using Bicycles (including Motorbikes)

Bicycles that are left on the roads are safety hazards, as they obstruct traffic for pedestrians, disabled people and emergency vehicles. Edogawa City has designated no-parking zones for bicycles in areas around major stations. Since there are bicycle parking lots near each station, please take advantage of them.

Stations with No-parking Zones for Bicycles JR Koiwa Station, Hirai Station, Kasai Station, Nishi-Kasai Station, Funabori Station, Higashi-Ojima Station, Ichinoe Station, Mizue Station, Shinozaki Station, Keisei Koiwa Station and Kasai Rinkai Koen Station.

Removal of Illegally-parked Bicycles

Bicycles that are parked in no-parking areas are removed by the city. The bicycle owner must pay for the cost of removal.
* When the bicycle is removed, the wire lock is cut. The cost of the lock is not reimbursed.

How to Use Bicycle Parking Lots

Bicycle parking lots near stations employ registration systems and daily parking rate systems. Parking lots with daily parking rate systems are available for one-day uses and regular uses. To register for parking lots with registration systems, you must submit the designated application form to the Vehicle Parking Section of the City Office. Upon receiving approval, you must pay the registration fee. However, those who live within a certain distance from the station are not allowed to register.
