Health Consultation Services

Consultation services are available at public health centers and each public health support centers. For consultation schedules, please call the particular facility.

Health Checkups

The city offers various health checkups so that everyone can lead active and healthy lives. All of the following health checkups are free of charge.

  • Stomach, Lung and Colon Cancer Checkup
    For those who are 30 years of age or older (40 years of age or older for lung and colon cancer checkups).
  • Breast Cancer Checkup
    For women who are 30 years of age or older.
  • Uterine (Cervical) Cancer Checkup
    For women who are 20 years of age or older.
  • Uterine (Intrauterine) Cancer Checkup
    For women who have undergone the uterine (cervical) cancer checkup, and have been recognized by a doctor as needing further testing.
  • Periodic Special Health Checkup
    For those who are 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 to 63 years of age. A health checkup notice is sent to those who are eligible.
  • Health Checkup for Senior Citizens
    For those who are 64 years of age or older. A health checkup notice is sent to those who are eligible.
  • Resident’s Health Checkup
    Conducted at various locations in the city from May through July every year. Those not eligible for either the Periodic Special Health Checkup or the Health Checkup for Senior Citizens may take advantage of this health checkup.

  • Health Checkup for Babies and Toddlers
    These checkups are conducted on a specific date. A health checkup notice is sent to those whose children are eligible.
